Heats my car when camping and garage when not camping. Uses barley no diesel but eats through batteries quickly. Bring extra battery if using more then couple days.

I bought this heater for our homebuilt truck camper after having a similar name brand unit in a sailboat. The camper is a small pop up with canvas sides similar to a Four Wheel Camper. The heater blows 150* at the low setting. We camped in temperatures just below freezing and we turned the heater off because it worked so well. The install was pretty straightforward. The tank is sturdy steel and should last a long time. The heater started up and worked just like it should. The whole system survived a week of being driven and bounced around on rough gravel roads and trails. The unit itself if tiny and easy to find space to mount. I'm still curious as to how long it will last, but overall I'm more than happy with it!

Actual heater seems to be good quality and value. Instructions are worthless nonsense. I recommend watching YouTube to educate yourself on the install and issues. Basically, this is a great heater, but be prepared to upgrade some of the fittings which leak and cause pump issues/ inline air pockets and failures to run. Pump must be mounted vertically or at 45 degrees to allow diesel to lubricate metal parts. At 10% the cost of the Espar, I would say that it is an excellent value if you just upgrade a few hose parts and educate yourself as to installation requirements.

Simple unit, works well, every instill will have its challenges. If you choose to get this from these guys, DON'T EXPECT ANY HELP OR RESPONSES AT ALL. Like most companies "customer service" seems too be thrown to the way side, these guys included.

Very happy overall. Heater works as it should. Some of the hardware needed to be upgraded, instructions could have been much better. For the price and functionality, I'd recommend it.

Super fast delivery. I ordered this and it was delivered in just 4 days. It was complete and undamaged. Easy to install and started easily. It came with a instruction manual that was easy to understand. I installed this on a home made teardrop trailer I was worried in would be to hot but the thermostat goes down to about 55 degrees Fahrenheit. After using this heater several times over the last couple of weeks I can say I could not be more pleased. I installed this on a little uninsulated teardrop camper and it_ so warm I open the windows and the maxair fan to cool it down. The coldest nights have been in the high 20s F. And it_ 80 degrees inside. It_ a low draw on the battery too.

I bought this heater to install in my 5th wheel RV, as an auxiliary heating system to supplement the propane furnace. This heater functions properly, and seems to produce the required amount of heat. If you have researched this type of heater, you already may know that these heaters produce some combustion noise, but this heater dies not appear to produce any more noise than more expensive units. I suspect all of these aftermarket heaters are basically the same. So far, my heater does not smoke on start up or shutdown, and did not produce any combustion soot after running at a reduced load. I am happy with the heater performance and supplied accessories and installation hardware. The heater gets four stars because no instructions are included in the package. If you watch some of the online videos about parking heaters, you can easily determine how to install one if these units, but figuring out the controller functions can be difficult. I finally found a like controller for sale on another site with controller function instructions.

Got what I wanted.

Instruction booklet wasn_ much help. Watched you tube videos but my husband had experience with espar heaters so was able to install it into my tack compartment of my horse trailer. Had to use some of our own screws to configure it to where we were putting it but came with enough in the package. Also came with everything you would need. Hoping it will last for what I will use it for a few times in the summer when it_ cool in the mountains.
