This pit is huge! Can_ wait to get the patio pavers in and add the stone surround.

It_ poorly packaged but since it_ steel, it_ less likely to get damaged. Mine arrived with the box in shambles. One corner was bent with paint chipped. It was a pain to get the mating edges to align well. I used a 4 lb sledge hammer and an angle grinder. Then resprayed the damaged spots with high temp paint. I put all 4 pieces together without tightening the fasteners. Then put a wratchet strap outbound the outside and tightened it. This pulled it together tightly. Then I tightened the bolts. Also, the M1x6 fasteners are Phillips pan heads. These are garbage since you can_ torque them well. I replaced with some hex head M6x1 that I had. With the new heads, I was able to tighten the fasteners well. I also had to bend the overhang some to get a good alignment. Overall, nice looking item but made poorly.

It was simple to put together and looks like. The packaging it came in was kinda beat up and messy. Aside from that, it_ good.I also found it difficult to find a lot of options for rings over 36 inches. This is nice and simple for what I needed.

Ring was exactly what I was hoping for. Larger than the kits at Lowes. I wish it was a solid ring, but I did not find such a thing anywhere. Ring has only been in for a week.Once assembled (easy!), it was not a perfect circle. I was fine with that though. Am I Euclid?To build my pit, I bought the following materials from Lowes. Note that I have four levels of block: the lowest level isn't evident in the picture, but you can see half of it from the other side. I dug a 3" trench for the blocks, put 1-2" of paver base in there, put down the first level of blocks (14.5 per ring), then used a 4' level to get them all perfectly level. Then stacked the remaining stone. With these stones, I used an angle grinder with a masonry wheel to easily make partials. -- This ring -- ~ 60 blocks from Lowes (fyi they are $2.38 each) -- 4 0.5 cu.ft. bags of paver base.I also put about 8 bags of river rocks around the base (on top of weed stop screen). Not sure I'm loving that, but well see when the grass grows in.(Homebrew German Pilsner not included)

Seems sturdy and well made. Assembly is easy and the paint appears to be of good quality. I haven't used it yet, but nothing I see tells me it's not going to do the job for which it is made. Let's be honest; you're going to be burning wood at 900 degrees plus inside this thing, so no paint is going to last a lifetime. A couple quick coats of high-temperature spray paint from your local hardware store every couple years should keep it looking nice and protect it from rust. Looking forward to summer s'mores in the back yard this year!

Used this to line our masonry pit. It was a little dinged from shipping- lousy packaging, but it doesn_ really show.Overall, it is heavy and thick and should hold up well.

It was very easy to assemble and seems pretty sturdy. I lined it with bricks around the outside. I am not happy about the quality because after 1 fire the paint/powder coating started to peel away and expose the metal so I'm afraid it is going rust faster than it should.

I bought this for my husband to use while constructing our new fire pit. He used it as the inside and then based the width and height around it. It_ worked out really well and made building very easy. We have already used to grilling rack to make burgers and they turned out great. The handle to the the rack was very handy and my husband used the brush to easily clean it when we were done. I recommend.

Easy to set up and good quality. I would buy again.
