Ordered this because my friend's 2-frame extractor wobbled too much unless two frames were almost identical in weight. Good quality construction, sturdy gear housing, and less wobble. Must clean out thoroughly with soap solution a couple times before use because it is coated with manufacturing grease.

Il est facile monter et utiliser par contre les joints pas terrible, il ne faut pas serr trop fort au niveau du robinet.

Unit tends to shake somewhat when spinning. Legs anchored down would provide more stability. I did get some minor leak out of the spigot. Overall did a good job. Tighten up the nuts on the handle.

Works as expected

It seems to be quite sturdy to me. The actual spinning requires some balance of weight of the frames with honey. It can really wobble while spinning if frames aren't balanced. (It is recommended that you bolt it to the floor. A friend bolted his to boards and then stood on the boards.)The legs are not "sharp" but you could probably cut yourself on them if you are careless. A few minutes with a file would probably fix that if you are concerned.The top crank is built quite solidly. The plexiglass top panels can be scratched fairly easily, so use some care.I bought the 3 frame model and it worked great for me.It was a good value.

I was a little hesitant about buying an extractor. We started with one hive got to split and caught two wild hives. This gives us a total of 4 hives. Harvesting became a all day job . With the extractor we cleaned nine panels of honey. It took less than an hour without covering ourselves or thekitchen with honey. The extractor came apart and was easy enough to clean. The only problem that I see is if you have an unbalanced inside the extractor it wobbles pretty bad. Otherwise well worth the money.

Great price, quality for manual extractor, make sure u have channel lock wrench. Electric is the next step up. 10 minute setup. After setup, use water to test valve for leaks and to clean tank before use.
