Perfect bit of kit for the money

I bought this to annually hydrostatically test the boiler on my steamboat. I must test to 300 psi (1.5 x the max operating pressure). I bought this pump 2 years ago. It has not failed me and it is much easier to set up than the hand pump I have on the boat.

This unit looked new, and worked well. I could see no evidence of cosmetic damage described in the listing. A clearer specification for the mating fitting should be made. The thread on the pressure-hose was a female nut, 1/2" BSP, but as the seal was to the face of a rubber washer, it worked fine with a standard American 1/2" NTP male fitting. Great value; a fraction of the cost of a new unit from a plumbing supply house.
