Great Value
Bought this for my bf, he wants to get into making some knives. He has not used it yet but it does seem to be a good value for the price. He seems super happy with it.

Good affordable anvil
Packaging was a little beat up, but it_ a 66 lb anvil, to be expected. It was in perfect condition, bounce back and ring are excellent.

Decent anvil, especially at the price
Weighs 108 lbs instead of 110, but has great rebound and seems like a solid anvil for me to get a lot of work done. Not a fan of the blue paint, will have to remove.

Robusto
Un yunque robusto y del peso adecuado para mi trabajo. Mi _ica queja es que lo ped en color negro como la foto y la descripci_ y me lo enviaron de color azul. Lo tuve que pintar....

My son loves it!
My son was very happy with this Annville, as was I. It also came with a free ball peen hammer which I was not expecting. My only complaint, and it really isn_ a big deal is that some of the blue paint on the Enville rubbed off in the packaging and delivery to my house. And some of it got on the handle of the ball peen hammer. Also, some of the packaging that it was wrapped in got stuck to it I think because the blue dye or anchor whatever it was maybe wasn_ fully dry when it got boxed up And that was a little bit difficult to get off without removing the blue paint. But all in all, a successful purchase. It seems like a pretty good value for the money!

I would suggest this anvil to any amateur or begin or Smith or knife maker
I definitely like this anvil it has a hardened worksurface and nice horn the Hardy hole is that in the Harden steel so it holds well. I really enjoy using this Anvil.CJ

Heat treatment
The heat treatment isn't deep enough. Still a solid anvil for the price and size

The round hole isn't well placed
The location of the round hole on the horn, so close to the ~4mm step up to the face, makes the hole pretty awkward to use. As a Pritchel hole, it is too close to the step to provide full-round support for punching. As a round hardy hole, maybe you could locate against the step to control rotation, but otherwise the step is a problem. Because of the step, the best use of the hole is probably just for a hold-down. If you need hole for a punch, use a bolster plate over the square hole instead--that won't mess up your work.If the makers wanted to make the round hole useful, they should move it more onto the face, extend the face around the hole, or raise the horn to match the face and provide all-round support to the hole.
