I'd been looking at these for about 6 months, but the price was always too high. However, now (May 2022) they are sub £250 and are a proper bargain.Don't be fooled by other cheaper cool boxes that are based on a Peltier cooler, they are not very good, they use a lot of power and are constantly noisy.This unit is based on a Samsung or LG 12v DC traditional compressor, similar to most domestic fridges/freezers. They only make some noise when they are running. Mine runs for about 6 mins every hour or so. It uses less than 1 watt when idle, and only 28 watts when running. Of course the temp you set and the amount of times you go into it will vary the amount of time it needs to run.It cools down in only a few mins, and mine will cool 48 cans of beer in about 60 mins, my old cooler box would take over a day to cool the same amount of beer.We use ours for camping as an extra fridge for food/beer and when at home I use it for storing fruit and veg at a higher temp than the main fridge. Fruit lasts longer at about 6'c than in our main fridge which is kept at 2-3'c.I'd recommend this fridge to anyone. Remember, it's a real compressor not a thermoelectric cool box.We did visit friends a few weeks ago and I wanted to go to their local farm shop. We put the fridge in the boot, plugged it into the 12v socket in the boot and it performed brilliantly, including the 5 hours we were at my friends and the 3 hour trip home.

Bought this for our camper and it's been amazing! Great range of temperature and doesn't take much battery up either running it all the time. Decent enough space inside too for the 20 litres it provides but the great part is the bluetooth connectivity! I would have said it was a gimmick but having used it I think it's a great way to monitor your leisure battery when you're parked up and easy to make temperature adjustments without accessing the main fridge control panel (our fridge is on a drawer runner inside a cupboard.

Bought this for my motorhome as seals had decayed on my old noisy,bulky and inefficient 3 way fridge which I had only used on a few occasions as it took as awful long time to get things cold ,was very finicky about being absolutely level and drained battery's or propane fast. This cooler is the 'polar' opposite , straight from the box (with all leads supplied) I powered it up on 12v and put 4 cans of drink in at room temperature , 30 minutes later the drinks were at 2c ,with very little noise and my solar controller showing it to be using 43w ,the insulation seem sufficient enough to turn the power off overnight.I have since found that it will hold 18 x 440ml cider cans although my daughter tells me that I can also use it for other things like milk , butter , cheese etc. I seriously can not fault this thing ,except maybe the blue colour as it does not fit in with my grey decor.

very handy for portable in car

Very happy with this coolbox. We use it as a freezer in our house and run it off solar Holds temperature well and can hold -18 Celsius no problem.Very satisfied.

Der Stromverbrauch ist bei mir zwischen 30 - 60 Watt. Sehr leise und Kühlt sehr schnell runter! Wiegt 9 Kg mit Netzteil 12 Voltkabel und Anleitung komme ich auf 10,7 Kg. Habe 2 Kg Fleisch eingefroren, bin begeistert war durchgefroren. Aber bei den Temperaturen reicht die Isolierung nicht. Als Kühlbox bei 7 Grad wofür Sie ja ausgelegt ist hält Sie sehr lange Ihre Temperatur. Für den Preis gebe ich 6 Sterne!

Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich für das Geld ein solch gutes Produkt bekomme. Ich kann die Haltbarkeit noch nicht richtig bewerten.Nach dem Auspacken habe ich die Kühlbox erstmal über eine 12 V Powerbank laufen lassen bei einer Umgebungstemperatur von 21 °C. In 22 min. hatte die Box -20 °C erreicht, mit einem externen Thermometer gemessen.Danach 3 Wochen Dauereinsatz an 230V als Weinkühler. Funktioniert bis hierher sehr gut.Übrigens, die Steuerung über Bluetooth mit der App finde ich auch gut.

I used this fridge for about a week.It was working absolutely fine.I used charger in my car and also powered form the mains.
