Bought it to supplement my ailing 3 way electrolux fridge in the m/home. Quite a bulky and heavy item to lug around. Dont do what I did which was to plug it in and run it as soon as it was unpacked- it needs to be left to let the coolant settle for a while- preferably overnight. Nevertheless it seemed to recover well enough. Finding a home for it in the van was a challenge, if I was looking for a replacement now I'd measure up a likely spot and buy accordingly. However it performed well on a late summer trip to France, and the lead is long enough to put it outside and keep it running. Capacity is more than adequate for what I wanted it for- keeping drinks and dairy cool.Over the Christmas period I've used it as a supplementary freezer in the house running off it's 240v plug and it's performed really well, running constantly for the last 3 weeks with no problems. As suggested elsewhere a digital freezer thermometer is probably a good idea as the temp shown on the display is usually a bit different from the actual in the compartment. In summing up, an excellent low cost compressor fridge freezer ideal for car campervan, caravan and an extra at home - at less than half the cost of some of the more well known brands. As long as it's looked after I see no reason why it should'nt last.
