I like this stand because I can move it out of the way. I have my Xbox connected to same monitor as my gaming PC and swap inputs depending on what I'm gaming on. I move the monitor back about a foot when on the PC.For my driving setup, I found the fixed location of the shift mount to be not ideal. To provide a mount position about 6 inches higher, I ditched the factory provided arm and fabricated my own bracket from an old remnant bracket used to mount the rear of a car stereo. The span is 5 holes and the end holes of this homemade bracket needed to be drilled out larger. The first hole of the mount pad is now bolted directly to the stand and homemade bracket helps stabilize it. All that is needed for this mod is the bracket and a 1 1/2" long bolt with identical thread pitch as the mount pad receives. The stand had a tendency to tilt towards me sometimes while driving but I alleviated that by placing two 8 pound dumbbells on the stand base just in front of where I mounted my footpedals.
