I replaced the clutch motor on a vintage industrial sewing machine and table with this. There are many Youtube videos and forum posts out there saying how to do this. The key message from these media is that all of these Chinese built motors are essentially the same, so get the cheapest one, so I did. It is as expected. The control box, foot pedal switch box and cables and connectors feel very cheap and flimsy. The motor itself and mount feels much more solid. Mounting is straightforward and everything functions perfectly. Some nice bonuses are present - the motor comes with a large pulley wheel attached, but a much smaller one is included (most home sewists will want the speed reduction this gives). A needle positioner is included. I was not expecting this and it was a pleasant surprise. A sheet of instructions is included and a QR code on the control box links to a digital version of these same instructions. I have a technical background, but these instructions were not intelligible to me. Getting the motor and needle positioner settings correct was a matter of trial and error with some help from forums etc. It's a cheap motor but well worth the money. Longevity may be an issue, but at present, I am very happy with it.
