I bought this to enable me to connect my air-source heat pump to my thermal store. This removed the need to get an additional tank or add a coil to the existing store. Works brilliantly and is excellent value for money.
Used this to heat my 12 foot swimming pool, can get the pool to 40c from the central heating if I want! Left it turned on with no control, that’s how I know. Controls and stats now fitted, sits perfect at 30c now great item
Used on van coolant line one side and hot water tank for shower on the other side. Pressure tested to 2 bars with no issues of cross contamination. The fixing mount could be improved to avoid potential overtighten as mounts don't reach the surface so if over tightened it will crush the exchanger, hand tighten!
This is a great chiller that helps get wort down to pitch temp within 15-20 minutes. It took my immersion chiller 2 hours. That saves time and money! Great value for the money.
The exchanger works extremely well but the threads do not have a tight seal. CG I used brass hose fittings on the water sides and stainless 3/4 NPTFNPT quick release fitting on the beer side or hot liquid side. Used pipe thread sealant but still minor leaks on both sides. Considering soldering them all
This 50 plate chiller works exactly as described. There is an included mounting bracket. Easy to hook up and is generally easy to figure out. Instructions were fine, but could be made slightly clearer as it had instructions for multiple different units combined into 1 for all
