It’s kind of a pain to put together but it seems to be a well built cutter for the price. No problems with it so far and I’ve use it on 3 full remodels roughly 700 sq ft of tile.

The tile cutter is a little unstable as delivered, however the addition of a short section of angle iron as a "foot" bolted to each end widened the stance and made all the difference. The second thing I noticed is that the breaker foot can interfere with the cutter wheel scoring the tile with some longer pieces, especially with tile or glass of about 1/4 inch thickness. The cutter was primarily used to cut 8 mm porcelain tile, which it did very well, delivering clean accurate cuts, just don't press too hard when scoring the tile. A deep score seems to cause the to break with a rougher edge. A light score gives a very clean square edge that looks like the factory edge after a little touch up with a 120 grit diamond pad on the rectified 24 inch square tile gloss finish tile. The solution to the problem of cutting thinner materials ( in this case 1/4 inch plate glass mirror) was to replace the lower front bearing of the scoring assembly with a larger diameter bearing of a about 1.5 inch diameter with a bushing on the ID to fit the 8 mm mounting bolt. This bearing rides on the bottom of the guide bar and the larger diameter raises the handle somewhat. However, the result was effortless, accurate cutting of the mirror glass. This had proven impossible to cut and break accurately with the normal hand held glass cutting tools. All in all, I would recommend this, just keep in mind that some tweaking may be necessary, but the basic tool is well worth the money!

Machine de bonne qualité pour un prix très bas. Attention prévoir de l'huile pour machine a coudre pour remplir le réservoir permettant le graissage de la barre de coupe et la roulette. Le laser n'est pas trop utile pour les coupes standards par contre sert bien sur les coupes de biais.

Bon matériel dans l'ensemble monté en 15mn; La grande règle coté droit est très commode pour caler et prendre les cotées des découpes. Le mien est doté d'une rail de 80cm qui manque un peu de rigidité et provoque quelques petits décalages de 1 à +2mm entre 2 passages Aller et retour consécutifs sur le même carreau. Néanmoins le rapport qualité prix est très bon.

It does the job perfectly. Too bad a spring came out after cutting 5 tiles but it still worked. The aftersales came with an adequate solution. Easy and reliable way of communicating. Can recommend the tool as well as service of Vevor.

Comme tout une fois qu'on sait comment faire, rien ne parait compliqué. Toutefois, nous avons dû nous reprendre à plusieurs reprises afin de vérifier que le montage était correctement effectué. Les quelques schémas pour le montage ne servent absolument à rien. Il faut aller sur le net afin de trouver des tutos en vidéo pour comprendre comment bien monter ce coupe carrelage. C'est un peu triste d'en arriver là. Par contre ce qui est bien c'est qu'il y a des vis en plus. Pas de panique donc si vous avez monté votre article et qu'il vous reste la moitié des vis en mains :) Comme tous ces objets de la sorte, il faut avoir le bon coup de main afin de pouvoir l'utiliser pleinement. Le prix pourrait être légèrement inférieur, mais reste correct dans l'ensemble. Je recommande ce produit.

Après le carrelage et l'emploi sur 80 m2 environ, je pense pouvoir évaluer cet outil. Les coupes sont belle et propre en 1 passage. Cependant il n'est pas utilisable des son arrivée, en effet le chariot à beaucoup de jeu et n'est pas aligné avec l'axe, il faut reprendre les réglages et les serrages pour aligner le tout et après aucun soucis.
