This lifter is a very solid device. It weighs about 40 pounds and seems to be made really well. I've only used it on small loads so far and also to use as a "counter weight" to pull on a tree to keep the tree from hitting my house while I was cutting it down lol. I suspect I will be using this for years to come. I've seen this exact same lifter for much more at other suppliers so I'm happy with the price I paid for it. Thank you

My product arrived defective- The magnet wouldn_ engage. I contacted the seller and they sent another one out but by the time it arrived it had been about a month since I placed the order. The new one works well. As long as you don_ get a defective unit, I do recommend this product.

I wanted to extract steel - mostly nails and screws from a burn pile. A conventional screw pickup sweep was not practical so I tried this. The magnet is heavy but reasonably well sealed and dragging it through the debris with my backhoe bucked worked OK but in the end I think by hand with a rope would have been just as easy as long as you have a place to hang the magnet while you release it. It takes two hands to release the magnet. Most of the nails dropped right off and the stragglers pulled off easily. I pulled out 30-40 lbs of nails in 15 minutes filling a 5 gallon bucket. A few more sessions to go though.

vendu et achet pour une capacit de 300 kg si vous regardez le tableau ci joint fourni par le vendeur avec l aimant pour des toles de 5/mm la capacit de levage est divis_ par 4 soit 75 kg .En faisant levier avec un pied de biche il s arrache facilement . Donc peu utile sauf si j avais des blocs d acier bien plats a lever ce qui n est pas le cas .Par contre parfait pour faire levier entre 2 __ents avant soudureDommage car le materiel semble robute et de bonne qualit.

Seems to work well in the first few weeks since we've had it. Our welders like it as it makes it a lot easier to move around plates.
