I would not call this a professional guillotine. It is sufficient to cut small projects. I will be using it to cut books that I bound. They are only 100 sheets of paper, so it can cut them easily. The trick is getting the cutter tightened with the paper aligned correctly. This takes a bit of practice using this particular cutter. I found that stop arm, that looked like a windshield whipper to be hard to adjust and basically useless. You could spend more on a fancier cutter if you do a lot of work, this won't work for a busy 0rint shop. I got this for my personal use after my boss sold the Chandler Price we had at work. On the plus it is much smaller and I was able to set it on top of my antique sewing table.

I have only used it in a limited amount, but it seems to be exactly what I needed. The instructions could be better and more detailed.

La taglierina funziona abbastanza bene dal punto di vista delle capacit di taglio. Ho rifilato infatti con relativa facilit opuscoli di 80 pagine con copertina. Non ho fatto invece esperienze con spessori maggiori ma penso che fino a 100-120 pagine non dovrebbero esserci problemi.Diverso invece il discorso dell'accuratezza della misurazione. Manca a mio avviso un segno sul piano di battuta della lama che identifichi la linea di taglio. Per misurare la distanza bisogna affidarsi unicamente ad un cursore mobile posteriore che ha per una regolazione piuttosto precaria.In conclusione questa taglierina non certo un prodotto professionale ma, considerando il prezzo, non era neppure possibile pretenderlo. Sarebbe stato per sufficiente qualche piccolo accorgimento per renderla pi funzionale.

Utilizzata per tagliare rilegatura di Riviste al fine di Scannerizzarle. Taglio Netto anche con riviste altre 2 cm. Non facile determinare con precisione dove avverr il taglio. Guida posteriore di allineamento un po' difficile da regolare al meglio. Nel complesso: Ottima!

Cuts large amounts of paper and cardstock! Cuts clean and straight! This has been a lifesaver and time saver for our office. HIGHLY recommend it!Set-up directions were not super clear but it wasn't very difficult.

This cutter mostly gets the job done. There were some quality issues such as the cutting blade not hitting the stop bar evenly at the bottom of the stroke which I fixed in about 2 hours. Also the stop bar was jammed in because it was a little too long instead of being held by the two thumb screws underneath. I fixed this as well. The instructions are bizzare and unusable. The intent was to tell you how the stop bar, red plastic, may be rotated or flipped end for end in order to give you a nice new cutting surface when the blade groove has become too deep and cuts the last page poorly. I figured the guy that had to assemble this just couldnt do the job well in the 27 seconds he was given. I like this cutter and since I've set it up right I like it a lot more. Good luck with yours.

Love this trimmer, right price, cuts 350 sheets of paper with ease. Very safe to use. Warning, it does cut a little slanted.
