Customer Reviews for VEVOR Portable Band Saw, 65 x 65 mm Cutting Depth, 360W Bandsaw with Brushless Motor, Cordless and Compact Portaband, Integrated Hang Hooks, 0-192 m/min Variable Speed for Cutting Metal, Wood (Bare Tool)

Working nice with metal pipes I i’m like this tool and the battery and the charger nice and easy you got 2 inches

This 20v 5" bandsaw has a built in light and cuts very well. Cut a bunch of brass, copper, aluminum and stainless steel and still had 4 bars.

Tool out performs my expectations. Powerful and portable. Plus the battery matches makita style therefore with a simple adapter I can use my existing batteries with it.

The motor's soft-start feature prevents the jerking common with some power tools, allowing perfect cut initiation. This proves particularly valuable when starting cuts on curved surfaces where sudden movement could damage the workpiece.

Cutting beryllium copper produces clean edges ready for electrical contact surfaces. The sparkless operation adds safety when working with this toxic material, though proper respiratory protection remains essential regardless of cutting method.

Cutting Hastelloy chemical processing equipment produces clean edges without compromising corrosion resistance. The slowest speed setting provides perfect control for these expensive alloys, though blade costs become significant for such specialized applications.

The blade tension indicator provides clear visual feedback, though experienced users will likely adjust by feel. Beginners will appreciate this feature while developing their tensioning skills for optimal blade life and cutting performance.

Cutting tungsten carbide-tipped saw blades requires careful speed control, and this bandsaw provides perfect management. The ability to cut such extremely hard materials demonstrates the tool's exceptional power and versatility for specialized applications.

The saw seems really good quality and the blade is easy to install and everything about it is great especially for the price but during shipping the plastic cover that covers the blade has little tabs on it that lock it together and two of them are busted off so even with the single screw that holds it on the saw there’s a gap on the bottom. The blade is still covered but I can see with use eventually the gap is going to catch on something and break the cover off. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars.

Relatively well build (somewhat flexibuildt) due to some plexi/plastic build components that seem to work well. hopefully in the long run too ?
