It was a cleam shiny aluminum but after washing it it tarnished within minutes but easy to use blades are expensive but fast and worth the price

Never put in dishwasher
I love it . I put the potato parts in the dishwasher it wash the stuff the metal . When you touch it leaves black on your fingers . I still love it .
