Ok for the price

Low vibration when mounted vertically but not so much when placed horizontal. Does the job so far at lowering radon levels. Used with sump cover, 2" pipe and fan mounted in attic (shared with sewage ejector pit exhaust).

I bought this radon fan about a year ago but never got around to installing it because my existing one was still working. The existing one was getting noisier and noisier, so I finally changed it. It was easy to install and is much quieter than the old one and there is no vibration. I checked at the outlet outside, and it is moving a lot of air. So, I am totally satisfied with this radon fan. It seems to be well-built also.

Impressively quite
4"-260 CFM-4"a 4"
The fan does what is claimed and in our install is working nicely. What is really impressive is how quite it is in comparison to other fans I have done in my prior houses and now my son's house. I cannot confirm that is is truly 260CFM but can say that it manages to pull from the sump pump enclosure very effectively (better than /10th the radon post mitigation). A couple of considerations that I will note: 1. The instructions are minimal at best, so know in advance what you need to do. 2. The provided tubing for the "Pressure Indicator" is really short (like 8 inches long) and therefore presumes that you are going to mount the gauge to the pipe. The holder for the gauge would have you use screws, but you don't want to screw into the pipe. They provide a long twist tie, but I don't see that holding the gauge up on a vertical pipe. No two sided adhesive is provided so you will need something. 3. The instructions show the device mounted sideways (flow going horizontally). This should be avoided where installation will have a vertical exhaust port (like up the side of the building to be more than 6 feet from any opening into the house). In a vertical install you need to be prepared for moisture (rain to drain down through the pipe, past the fan, and into the floor. If the fan is mounted horizontally the moisture will pool in the fan enclosure.
