The replacement carbon filters provided with my unit, were not adequate for removing VOC's.After exchanging an old filter with a replacement that's included with the unit, the distilled water had a pungent chlorine smell and taste.Ordered Quality Carbon filters, and some recommendations are to run water through a Brita first (pre carbon filter) then boil in a kettle, add to the machine, and water should be as close to 0 ppm with little to no VOC's.Otherwise

Everyone needs to use this. I've got no regrets.

So far all has been good with this machine.Couple it with an inline variable power supply for finite control over cuts if using for anything other than water distilation / stripping run.Rather than the stated 750W it seems to be closer to around 900W power draw measured via wall socket power meter. Certainly gets to temp quickly compared to say a 350w model.Didn't get on with the supplied jug as it does taint water, does get better with prolonged cleaning/washing/use.No idea what the supplied metal rack/gril is for... anyone?

Das Ger?t wurde schnell geliefert. Im Vergleich zu einen vorherigen Ger?ten, _erzeugt dieses durch gute Leistung, nach ca. 3 h sind die 4 Liter durch. Der ?ussere Eindruck und die gute Leistung weisen auf eine gute Verarbeitungqualtit?t hin. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch keine Aussage machen. Andere Ger?te haben da bei mir nicht immer das Halten k?nnen was ich h?tte erwarten k?nnen. Darunter waren auch leider Ger?te der h?heren Preisklassen und mit diesen kann sich dieses Ger?t allemal messen.
