Pros: Pricewise, product is below average market price. It performs well enough, destilled water quality tastes good (I have some 7 yrs experience with destilled water). Handle on it lid is more than useful. (good invention to remove lid more safe when process is over, and lid is hot inside). Electricity consumption measured: 3.2 kwH/round. Cons: Glass jar (particularly its handle) is though rather sensitive (keep manual instructions to hold jar with both hands when lifted and/or carried). Appliance is NOT CABABLE of destilling 4 litres, ONLY 3.5 LITRES maximum (whenever steel pot is nearly full of its top which means that it is well above the "full mark". In case "full mark" in steel pot is considered, destilled capacity could reach max 3.2 litres. What a pity for such a good product..... Btw. Marking of the liter level around the glass jar is false. 1 litre is not 1 litre, 2 is not 2..etc. As our world is illusion, you are not assumed to believe the volume of the jar (4 litres), but instead of believing, you ought to measure it yourself :).

This unit works quite well, but I wouldn't recommend drinking the water. I use this for my CPAP and my wife's humidifier, and it has saved us a great amount of money over store bought distilled water. I did try drinking the water that it produces, but it tastes very metallic.The instructions included were difficult to understand, so I looked up a video review to figure out the correct operation.

Use this 3/4 times a week, all the crap left behind from the tap water is scary, this works great

The machine is easy to assemble and the final result after distilling water is so clean and clear. There are no after taste or smell at all. The dirt and scales of water is so visible at the bottom of the tank. I am more than happy with the result.My only negative comment is the consumption of my electricity as it took almost 2-3 hours to complete the distillation (that’s 4 litres).

Does a great job cleaning the junk out of tap water, also cleaning up what even the best filters can't filter out. I'd never had a distiller before but was advised to get one. It takes a while for the water to cool, I advise pooring the water into another glass jar to cool it quicker. The results of the quality of water are highly noticiable when drinking it, even with orange squash or tea.

Does an amazing job actually distilling water, from 4 litres of UK tap water, the muck that was taken out was unbelievable. However, the outlet nozzle is way too short and the collection jug has to be leaning toward the distiller using a cardboard wedge to safely collect the water. The second problem was the steel inside the distiller is of poor quality and scratches easily even with a light rub with a green scourer. For the price I paid for it, I expect a quality product and a satisfactory design, not design faults and poor quality materials being used. This needs to be addressed

I use the water distiller every day and it works perfectly. Easy to assemble.
