Works perfect I'm realy happy

Except for it perhaps not being as cosmetically finished as the ones you can pay big $$$ for from the jewelry suppliers, functionality-wise it is very well made. I suspect that this particular one is marketed under different names because there is a penny sized depresion machined where you typically see the popular brands name or logo. Cosmetically perhaps not as finished, but certainly very functional.After all, it's just a a vise!

Item arrived and was way better than expected for the money.

As mentioned in other reviews, it comes with a real coat of grease. Since it has come from India, that seems entirely appropriate.I was cautious about getting a less expensive engraving vise, but I am very happy with this one. Everything I see is better quality than you might expect for a vise that is 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of many others, but I am quite happy with it. It really IS fifteen pounds!I was not sure if I needed the accessories, but I am very happy I purchased the one WITH the accessories.If I ever have the need for a second one, I'll get one of these.WARNING added a bit later:BE SURE you unpack this next to your trash barrel. As fast as you have any given box empty, put it in your trash barrel and then spray it once you are done. I got several "hitch hikers" (BUGS) in the packaging. I hope I killed them all.

I love this vice and so far it's exactly what i wanted. If I start engraving in the future I may upgrade to a fancy one but for now I'm just using it for bezel setting.

I got the 5" and works great..have zero issues ...I highly recomend saving the money from buying a name brand version

Has a little more play that I expected while open, but clamps down securely, the rotation is nice and smooth, so overall, it works great, especially for the price. DM

Im Vgl. zu Markenger?ten kostet diese Gravierkugel ca. ein F_ftel. Ist dementsprechend nat_lich etwas g_stiger verarbeitet.Sofern man sie nicht tagt?glich _er viele Jahre braucht, rate ich als Fachmann (Goldschmied) zu dieser g_stigen Variante. Ansonsten ist sicher das teurere Original empfehlenswert. Falsch machen kann man mit dieser g_stigen Version aber nichts.
