Ich habe dieses VEVOR Gewindeset gekauft um alte intakte Gewinde zu reinigen. Nach dem Spülen mit Bremsenreiniger und kleiner Bürste arbeite ich mit dem Vevor Set die Gewinde nach, um restliche Verschmutzungen zu entfernen und das Gewinde zu prüfen.

I looked it over, it is what I need on the farm & in the shop. I have not had a use for it as of today, but you never know when you will need it. I used this same design at work for forty years. It dose not cut thread like a tap & die, but cleans them up, save time & tears. I may not need it ,but if I do it will be worth it's weight in gold.

This thread chaser kit is great. One use and it pays for itself! Better for your threads than trying to use tap and die to correct thread damage.

I got to play with the thread restorer kit a bit and find it to be, for my needs, as complete a set as I think I’ll ever need (for my garage shop). I watched a video on how to use the included files and the host mentioned that he thought the tolerances were not as tight as they should be so be a bit careful when you use the set and go slow.

I bought these believing I'd probably rarely use them. It's only been a few weeks, and I'm finding I need them all the damn time. Even going back to old projects and cleaning the the threads.
