It works extremely well, after doing some experiments to find the optimal current setting. The low purchase price means a very good value for money. Some ideas: 1. The enclosed nickel strip appeared to be nickel coated steel. It would be good if this were specified in the online specifications. 2. According to specifications, the device consumes between 2 and 15A mains current. At the higher side, this is not true: my 16A current tripper (B-characteristic) had to be replaced by a C-characteristic one in order to withstand the much higher than 15A current spikes. This should be more clear in the online specification; for people without the option of upgrading their current tripper, this welder cannot be used!

Very nice and reliable Spot Welder. it handles 0.15mm nickel strips with ease !!! Be aware two have ta least 16-20A socket. Great product for this price !

Nach meinen zahlreichen Versuchen mit dem VEVOR Punktschweißgerät 788H möchte ich meine Ergebnisse mitteilen.Sogar mit der schwächsten Einstellung: Current (1),Pulse (1),Pulse Group (6),Welding Pressure Adjuster (500g) ca. mitte.Erst ab Pulse Groupeinstellung (6) macht er bei mir haltbare Ergebnisse und der Nickelstreifen läßt sich schwer entfernen.Mit Pulse Groupeistellung (10) ließ sich der Nickelstreifen nur mit einer Zange entfernen.Dann habe ich die Kupferschweißstifte links & rechts zur Spitze hin auf 3-4mm eingestellt und da gibt es einen großer unterschied.Der Nickelstreifen ließ sich nicht mehr ohne Rückstände vom Accu mit der Zange abreißen.Nach meinen Versuchen sind die Kupferschweißstifte bei normaler Einstellung zu weit auseinander.Für das gleiche Ergebnis braucht man weit größere Currenteinstellungen.Meine Netzabsicherung für meinen Bastelraum ist 16 Ampere Träge (wegen mein WIG Schweißgerät)und somit hatte ich keine Einschaltproblemme.Wünsche gutes Punktschweißen.
