Product works great, as good as any I've used. Expands easily and smoothly. Does not bounce with in excess of 250lbs on it.

I decided to change the vinyl siding on the back of my house. It was sun faded and had multiple holes from the previous owner who had dozens of plaques and signs nailed and screwed to it.! So it is 52 feet across and I needed a platform that would allow me to not work off of a ladder. This plank is made of high quality aluminum and slides open and closed with ease. It easily held my 280 lb frame fully extended! And when I had to put the plank over my head, it was very manageable due to its light weight. The best thing I have purchased in the last several years! A solid investment for me!

Voll ausgezogen bleibt sie auch bei zwei Personen stabil, die Schlaufen verhindern einen Wegrutschen von der Leiter, es gibt auch eine Arretierung für den Auszug. Definitiv eine Kaufempfehlung

Review: The plank seems plenty sturdy (I’m 230 lbs); as a former ironworker, I’ve walked across flimsier steel beams. I felt perfectly safe on it, and appreciated the plank width, especially compared to lumber (I have long, large feet). Using this plank is simple: release the stop bolts, pull or push to extend or contract, tighten the stop bolts, and secure the plank to proper supports. There’s no mystery about it. Extending and contracting the halves has some resistance (from day one) — not terrible, but not as easy as opening a drawer. I can only imagine it will get worse over time and use; we’ll see. I love the size (8-13 feet): the lengths are short enough closed to put in the car, and long enough open for me to reach the entire roof of my maximum length 2024 Transit van. It’s also handy for trimming my tall yard vegetation; less setting up, moving of the ladder/supports, and climbing up and down. I thought of using 2” x 12” lumber (double-thickness), but it isn’t as versatile, and the two, 2” x 12” by 8 or 10 feet boards (longer would need more support) would weigh about the same as the plank. The plank is wider than 2” x 12” lumber, cleaner, and easier to store than lumber. Overall, I like and recommend this product, though the news on April 2, 2026 concerns me.

This is quite a sturdy unit and works as described but there's a big gotcha. It requires two people to extend it. It's quite heavy (a good thing) and there is so much friction between the sliding aluminium planks that it effectively comes to a hard stop. I could only get the unit to extend by 30cm maximum! No matter which way I held it or angle I put it in, that's all I could pull out even after I oiled the joints (which gave me a little bit more). I destroyed one of the straps by pulling that in the effort to pull the plank section. The straps are basically lightweight rubbish actually, if the plank slipped off the ladder rung, it would rip straight off due to the weight. Needs to be leather. I wrote to Vevor with this issue and they passed it onto the supplier. The response was "this is a two person item" (I got the long one, not the short one). This is not written anywhere on the product page or in the received instructions. So be aware of it. Otherwise it's a good piece. If you are going to try solo, the method is to find a post or stake in the ground, hook one end over it and pull like hell to extend it to the desired length. The Vevor support process was good and quite satisfactory service.

The walk plank seems to work well. I needed a fairly long plank and I generally work alone so I targeted this item which seems lighter than the compilation by comparison. The walk plank feels sturdy enough enough with just me on it. However, I wonder how it would hold up fully extended with another man working off it along side of me. Time will tell as it has only been me on it thous far.
