I bought this pedestal for my 8 inch grinder and it’s been great. I added a couple bags of sand for weight and it does the job perfectly. I could not build this for what I paid for it.

I used this stand for a real heavy industial KEF grinder. I made a plate with bolts to fasten the grinder as the holes is made for a KEF stand. Then I made the holes for the stand in the plate. It works well. I shall make a water bucket for cooling in the top plate. Look at my picture. Bolted to floor. Rock solid!

It's a nice stand but too short. I had to raise it 8 inches. I welded the stand onto a 8 inch rim. It stands 4 ft tall now.
