This is a surprisingly high-quality microscope. It was easy to set up, produces clear images, and the adjustments are straightforward. I truly have no complaints—I got a lot for my money.

Works amazing , I use this for home use to fecal float dogs to try to see what's going on and is way more then I needed but welcome the over sized.. quality is outstanding..

Un rapport qualité/prix excellent, l'ensemble mécanique optique est d’un niveau plus que correct. Le seul problème identifié est un alignement imparfait entre l'illuminateur et le condenseur avec comme conséquence que le champ de l'objectif 4x n'est pas couvert uniformément. Évidemment il n'y a pas de dispositif de centrage que l’on ne trouve que sur des microscopes professionnels infiniment plus chers

iphone mount doesnt work too well, need to adjust constantly. the photo below is wine yeast under 2500x magnification…not too bad.

This is my very first microscope so I have no previous experience. Firstly, I really want to underline the fact that I'm happy with this microscope and enjoy using it a lot. I can easily see microorganisms in a drop of pond water. I have not yet tried it with a camera (the camera is not included). There are lots of accessories included and as a beginner I wish there would have been some instructions to what they are for because I don't understand all of them. And why is there only one x2 lens? I find it hard to use the highest zoom. Often I need to go so close so that the specimen gets crushed. Often, when shifting from the x40 to a higher zoom I need to lower the table not to move the specimen with the zoom, thus losing focus. I have used the phone holder a lot and it works ok. If there is one thing I would like to add to this microscope it would be eyepieces suitable for when wearing glasses. I have that on my binoculars. It's very hard to use this microscope whilst wearing glasses. With the camera this will no longer be a problem of course.
