Nutze den Amboss als Deko,, ungew?hnlich denkt man aber andere haben Blumen in ihren Wohnzimmer! Ich eben einen Amboss mit den dazu geh?renden Schmiede Zangen und H?mmern, in Erninnerung an meinen Beruf??

I have waited to give this review because i was worried about longevity. I have punded at this anvil and ran it threw the paces. anything from chisels and ball peen hammers have had direct hits on the face with very small reflection. It did well with a 16 lb sledge hammer with overhead swinging. The surface is very flat and the edges were very sharp I filled my edges down a bit because i was worred about chipping. the hardy was 7/8 by 15/16 with lots of paint and some sort of crusty stuff set aside 5 hours with a file if you want to fix that. face was very hard with a 95 % rebound. This anvil has helped me get twice the work done that i did on my 80 lb railroad track joint in half the time.

ein sehr toller Amboss. Wurde bestellt zum Geburtstag f_ meinen Vater welcher sich schon immer einen eigenen Amboss f_ seine Werkstatt gew_scht hat. War auch als Geschenk verpackt und alleine von daher schon der Hammer. Ansonsten was soll man da viel sagen.. er ist jedenfalls sehr robust :-) :-) ist exakt so gro? wie beschrieben und blau. Wird in k_ze seinen Platz in der Werkstatt finden. Die Lieferung erfolgte sehr schnell.

Not bad of a little anvil for what it is. The seller is great to deal with and the product arrived fast and it was exactly as I expected. Good for a starter anvil.

Just rite. Took 2 guys to deliver. Good value. Tried to put a dent in it, not possible, good steel. Perfect.

My husband has a blacksmith shop and I bought this anvil for him, he loves it. It doesn't take up a lot of space and it is perfect for what he needs it for. It is exactly what it says it is. He has used it a lot now and it still looks good.

Has a good steel flat top on it, though not the highest grade. while it takes more than a love tab it deftly doesn't take a mighty blow with a mist hammer strike to dent the top. The horn is a bit of an odd shape but it works well enough. The Hardy tool hole isn't 1" somewhere between 3/4 and 7/8. Also the blue paint on the side and horn definitely isn't just for rust prevention.. For sure it has a secondary or maybe primary purpose to cover up many many defects in the metal That's why I give it 4 stars but don't get me wrong overall im happy with it, definitely a good starter anvil.

Excellent starter anvil. The little hammer supplied is a tempo hammer. you use it to test the levels of ringing off your anvil to check for voids. It's also carbon steel (numbers on the head say 1040) so you can test the anvil to "hear" any defects. The blue paint has to come off...but that's normal. the edges were still a little too sharp for me.but easily fixed...the horn has a nice ring to it as well..Hardy hole needs a clean up as does Pritchard hole. ..but great value, great service, great piece of kit. can't wait to move steel....its not an ASO (anvil shaped object) ....ITS AN ANVIL...and great bargain...getting a 10kg for portable work next
