My hands are big so the sturdiness is not there at all and I was kinda upset that the bottom didn't have any weight to it ! But other the that I love live how easy it is to work ! And how great the my bottom come out ! And customer service was great was I reach out to them about the sturdiness! Thank you! I'll upload pictures later!

I have been using this machine for about 6 months now. I love it. It's a perfectly sufficient machine, so I'm not sure the trouble other reviewers have had. I originally thought the base looked pretty gnarled and cheap but I later learned that the brown is protective paper that peels off. It also came with a ton of parts. I'm only just now needing to restock. There is a bit of a learning curve with the back alignment but quick to get used to. The parts are a bit cheap but still sufficient. I've had a few of the pins pop off but I think that was from not using sufficient pressure when making them. My only real "complaint" if you want to call it that, is that i wish the base was actually heavier. Sometimes when I am pressing hard, the machine will lift a little. A heavier base would keep it steady without having to permanently attach it to the surface. Other than that, I am absolutely satisfied with my purchase. I have since bought the 1in and plan to purchase a larger size soon. I produce pins for sale and have yet to have any complaints from customers or from friends/family who have received them. I recommend, but caution new users to make sure they are using it right before reporting it as a bad product.

It was easy to assemble and it works like a charm. The buttons it produces are sturdy and professional-looking, and have earned me lots of positive reviews from my customers. It also came faster than expected.

A great little button maker! Our student group will get a lot of use out this fun tool when they're able to meet at our community college again. The button maker arrived quickly and was well-packaged. It's fairly easy to use. This is a great buy if you're in the market for a button maker.

This button maker is great. I think anyone who has issues with this may not be using it quite right. It_ somewhat straightforward to assemble, and easy to use. I agree with everyone, the circle cutter it comes with is useless... the blade is cheap and it tends to slide away from where you_e cutting, not to mention it tears printer paper. I just use a tiny pair of scissors to cut out my designs. I also use photo paper for the design material, and cut the circle slightly larger than the pin back (as pictured).

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The buttons that come with the button maker are plastic backs. In my experience the plastic backs are not as sturdy as the metal backs. So when ordering the you should order metal backs as well.

Some of the pins wouldn't press together, and required several attempts. But in the process of making well over 100 pins so far, I think I only had to discard 6. Really not that bad. I found that if I tried again, most of them would fit together. The biggest annoyance so far is that I have had to discard more of the small plastic covers (they get crimped in the first attempt, and rarely will succeed with a second attempt).I love the machine overall, and maybe the issue is me being new at button making. I'm not sure. I would recommend this machine. :)
