These polystyrene tiles were all I could get a hold of because the pvc ones were sold out. I was a bit concerned about the negative reviews, but I thought I’d try them any way. Polystyrene tiles always require a little more work because they are quite squidgy and there’s no overlap to hide the join, but I tell you what theses ones are so easy to work with. The ceiling isn’t fully finished and I haven’t filled the joins yet, but a bit of caulk on the joins and the ceiling will look flawless. I personally think they are pretty good for the price and material. These are polystyrene so the sides are not perfect but they never will be 100%. Caulk and a couple of coats of matte emulsion and you will never tell the difference.

Easy to work with....However product is actually 19.5 " by 19.5."..... not 20" by 20" as description states.

Très déçu et de multiples raisons, pour commencer les dalles étaient de deux bains différents donc 40 d'un blanc plutôt cassé, et les autres (92) d'un blanc plutôt gris. Mais cerise sur le gâteau, les dalles ne sont pas coupées à angles droits ce ne sont pas des carrés mais des parallélépipèdes. Je vous laisse imaginer comment poser proprement ces dalles (impossible). Donc pour les différences de couleur je vais me débrouiller, et quand au défaut d'angles droit et bien j'ai redécoupé toutes les dalles à une dimension légèrement inférieure pour rattraper le défaut. Donc comme vous le voyez j'ai perdu beaucoup de temps et d'énergie et je le répète , je suis très déçu.

The tiles have the thickness, construction, feel, and look of a Styrofoam dinner plate. I'm not exaggerating. At first, when I pulled the top one out of the box I actually thought it was a piece of packing material - but it wasn't. It was the actual tile itself. They don't look nearly as well made as the photos make it seem - and the photo of the guy cutting them with scissors makes the piece look a lot more rigid than what it actually is. So far I've decided to keep them as I can't find anything that looks better for less than double the price. update: 11/5 First, a few of the tiles are damaged inside the box because of the packing tape wrapped around the plastic protecting the tiles. The only solution was the send the whole box back and hope that, for some reason, the next box would be different. I opted to just use the damaged tiles for the edges that I had to cut Second, I will say that in a photo, the ceiling looks much nicer than they do in person. And even in person, they don't look too bad as long as the ceiling is very high. I would not recommend these on any ceiling low enough that a tall person could touch it - at that kind of height, the dinner plate look is hard to miss. Third, I discovered that the tiles are not square! After I put up a couple, I noticed they didn't line up for some reason. So i took the square tile down, rotated it 90 degrees, and magically it fit correctly! Measuring them revealed that they aren't 20" x 20" at all but 19.5"-ish. And by "-ish" I mean that some are 19.5" in one direction and 19 5/8" in the other direction. All-in-all, I'll admit that they are roughly half the price of anything else I could find so I guess you get what you pay for. Even after feeling and seeing the construction of them, I opted to stay with them vs replacing them with a much more expensive option.

I have purchased many great products from VEVOR, but this one MISSED the mark by a LOT! Unfortunately I did not open the boxes for several months, not being ready for them, or I would have returned them immediately. I had searched for PVC tiles and these came up. They are styrofoam and easily warp, dent, break, etc. SO dissapointed. I tried gluing them up over a sealed popcorn ceiling and even the glue did not hold. I tried a few different glues. I am so disappointed!!! over $500 wasted. I then had to buy over 15 huge pails of mud to do all the ceilings by hand. I had purchased ceiling tiles before from here, and they were EXACTLY what I wanted, and I honestly thought I had purchased the same ones again. Now I am gun-shy.
