Very good device and makes working with car springs lot easier.

I have tried a couple of different spring compressors. From the two bolt hook type, to the single screw type that compresses. None of them work like this hydraulic one, it is great. Very easy to use with little strain or worry that it would burst open. Now you can't use it to remove the spring, you will need one of the above mentioned compressors to remove or hold it steady, but once it is out it is very easy to assemble with this hydraulic one. I should have gotten it a lot sooner, it would have saved money and a lot of skin.

je viens juste de le monter , le poids de l'ensemble indique déjà que l'on a du matériel de qualité , tout est bien conçu , bien lire la notice pour comprendre les risques à éviter si l'on utilise pas correctement cet outils , je l'ai acheté en prévision de remplacement de jambe de force de mon véhicule en toute sécurité au vu d'autres outils qui comportent beaucoup plus de risque d'utilisation , j'en profite pour dire que l'emballage de tous mes colis sont soignés

Very impressed by this. I had bought a similar item from a very well-known UK supplier of such equipment but their design would only work for a flat lower spring platform at right angles to the strut. By contrast this Vevor unit has an angled lower spring grip which works perfectly with the typical modern "banana" spring (officially "side-load"). Having originally struggled with old-fashioned spring compressor clamps to no avail, being able to use this device was a revelation - I had the spring removed in minutes, and replaced just as quickly. Perfect.
