Looks like a quality unit, especially for the price!, I opened it the day I got it obviously to inspect and was impressed! Today Valentine’s Day 2026. I attempted to open the case to use it for the first time and both plastic open clothes pieces snapped in half! Doesn’t sound like a big deal as the tool worked, but it has considerable heft and now can’t close the case to transport tool to other areas of my shop. Just opened a ticket and we will see if I can get a replacement case whether Warrentee or I will purchase. Need someway to transport. Other than the case breaking it looks like a solid tool. Would recommend to anyone.

Also, ich muss gestehen - ich hab den Federspanner noch nicht ausprobiert, aber das steht bevor ... Nachdem ich wirklich jahrzehntelang mit improvisierten, selber gebauten und einfachen gekauften Federspannern solche Arbeiten erledigt habe - war immer mal ziemlich spannend, im Wortsinn - hab ich mal Lust auf eine langweilige Lösung ... Bis auf eines - sind Federn immer in die selbe Richtung gewickelt??? - denn die ist hier mit der Steigung auf den Spanntellern vorgegeben - kann ich nur sagen, dass das "Zeug" einmal super durchdacht ist - wer konisch gewickelte Federn hat, verwendet vom Durchmesser her unterschiedliche Spannteller - und das Zwischenstück, dass den unterschiedlichen Mittenabstand zum Gewinde ausgleicht; und dass das alles qualitativ einen richtig guten Eindruck macht ... Und ja, natürlich kostet das Geld .... Aber was kostets, wenn einem eine Fahrwerksfeder in der Garage wie ein Squashball um die Ohren fliegt? Ich kanns grundsätzlich nur empfehlen .... Sowas hat vor - 35 Jahren? in DM übrigens ein vielfaches gekostet, selbst wenn man den gelogenen Wechselkurs DM/ Euro mit einbezieht ....

Auch bei Problemen mit dem Artikel wurde mir ein super Kundenservice und Problemlösung angeboten.
