This is my third 5kw diesel air heater to buy/install. This one has an aluminum case with a nice white (powdercoat?) finish that looks great in the boat. This one does not come with a remote. It worked great right out of the box...both previous ones I bought had a fan clearance issue that was easily fixed with a file. If you have no skills maybe don't buy it. Common sense will go a long way and also be sure to watch some Youtube videos. I use these heaters 24 hours a day on weekend trips and love them. If you plan to run it 24/7 on a liveaboard boat/RV maybe consider an expensive version...

Very good, makes my truck warm really quickly. Easy to install but took to long otherwise it_ very good.

I purchased this for my son and daughter-in-law who love to camp in their SUV. They have a tent that fits onto their vehicle but had to actually start their car to run the vehicle's heather for warmth. No more! Now this provides them with all the heat they need without ever getting out of their sleeping bags!

I bought an Alley Express Heater a few years ago. It failed after about 20 hours use so I bought this one after reading the reviews. This is a much nicer unit that I received way faster. Better display on this unit by far. Also English, just a little nicer!! Easy install and started right up
