I knew this kit had some deficiencies when I purchased it, however, I needed the less available 2kW heater for my small camper van, not the ubiquitous 5kW heater.The negatives:-Based on the photo provided by the seller, an exhaust silencer and a hot air supply duct were not part of the kit, even though both of of these are necessary for most installations. The duct actually did ship with the kit.-The kit didn_ come with the uncommon controller shown in the photo but it did ship with a different uncommon controller. Uncommon means there is little information about it on the internet, so you have to figure it out for yourself. The manual provided had operating instructions for several types of controllers but not the one included with the kit. Additionally the LCD display is in Chinese.The positives:-This heater started up easily on the test bench and I installed it in a day an half. I found the manual fairly easy to follow although I do have some previous experience with diesel heaters. The manual, together with some internet research should be enough for most people.-so far the heater has kept the van comfortable in -8C weather.-Good value for the money
