It works. I have a widow behind the head of my bed that radiates heat in the summer and cause a cold draft in the winter. I did double it up.

Very pleased with this. It's got a good thickness to it, and the roll sizes are easy to handle. I'm using some of it for a ceiling, where it has an interesting and welcome acoustic effect. Noises are dampened quite a bit. The white vinyl side is visually neutral, which is just fine for my uses. Price was excellent.
