We are pleased with this. Its just a little extra protection as a barrier shielding the kids, the cat, and my husbands slippers when he puts his feet up on the edge of the table, from getting singed. It helps keep the flame from being beaten up by the breeze. This is well made. The glass is thick enough to feel weighty and sturdy and the connector hardware made it easy to put together on my own. I planned on saving the foam sleeves and box to store the glass wall all winter but instead we are still using it and hope to continue to all winter.Ive already goven the link to this product to my brother and a friend. Its noticably better than the basic glass walls that they ended up with before seeing ours.

The four pieces of glass were easy to put together and it looks beautiful on top of our custom fire pit! Glass is turning a bit black from fire, disappointed but thought it may happen. Still need to see if it will clean off.
