Side-to-side stability is excellent. Some concern that fore-and-aft flex may result in a break in the weld at the foot. It scratches very easily and the scratches rust quickly.Be sure to leave enough room between the lid and the post to allow the lid to close.It has made access much easier that without it.

This safety rail was very easy to assemble. The way it slides under the actual spa makes it much sturdier than rails that just screw on to the side. I definitely recommend this product.

This was exactly what we needed! Makes it so much easier for people to get in & out of our hot tub!

It_ a GREAT railing and so helpful!Only downside was, even with our hot tub emptied, we couldn_ just slide it in we literally had to have 2 guys lift up the corner of the hot tub and a third person to slide this into place.It_ a great railing, 5 stars! Just getting it under our tub woah were we not expecting that struggle.

Bought this for my 88 year old mom so she could come in my hot tub, it's perfect for her .

First of all - really heavy duty. Solid and well made. So heavy in fact the box barely survived the trip.It has been put together but I have no idea if I used the right screws for the right connection.What makes me doubt my assembly is some of the connections are askew - not fit flush.Funny thing is there are two different allen wrenches for the bolts - yes 5 bolts and they are two different sizes.Because the box was in tatters the product was scratched to the metal in several places - will need to paint so it doesn't rust.A parts list and a simple narrative would go a long way to this product getting 5 stars.

Very sturdy and great stability for my husband

This unit makes getting in and out of the spa much easier. It provides balance and stability like any hand rail along stairs provides.
