It really helps to have two people for installation. We installed on a 20 foot Avalon pontoon and works excellent.

This was easy to install and it seems to be working well. I noticed the glands don't seem to be replaceable like the Sea Star cylinder glands are, which might prove to be an issue in the future because the glands break down over time and need replacing at some point. But, I bought this because it was about half the cost of the Sea Star system and it is of high enough quality for me to say that I am satisfied. The instructions aren't very clear and the illustrations aren't accurate but like others have said, if you're installing this yourself you likely have the ability to figure it out on your own like I did.

No fluid but goes in pretty fast. Carefully read the instructions.

Item was shipped very promptly. Received it in 3 days! Installation was very easy ].., the quality is excellent, at least so far, used it two times performed flawlessly. Very, very easy to steer

Received very fast easy installation everything fit like it was supposed to hoses are very high quality as well the fittings were high quality as well the only thing i noticed is that you can not trim motor all the way up due to steering linkage I would recommend this product

Just installed it have not tested it yet but very easy to install well worth the money so farTested good I would definitely recommend this over a cable steering any day

Machined very well easy to install except getting the old cable out. Now I can do the one-finger diddle.Would highly recommend it. Originally reviewed 9/20 after 10 months of using this, I have to say it has not missed a beat. I have also added an autopilot and if anything was going to make it leak that would, autopilot tends to stress out hydraulic steering due to all the corrections it makes. There is no pitting or corrosion and I use my boat in a salt environment

Machined very well easy to install except getting old cable out. Now i can do the one finger didle.Would highly recommend
