This cutter understood the assignment!
This cutter cut all the toxic people from my life. This cutter cut 10 kilos of the weight I'm trying to lose. This cutter cut off the police on the highway and the police thanked it. This cutter cut Excalibur from the stone before King Arthur. Highly recommend!

A beast of a machine - robust and well built
This is a beast of a machine. It's robust and well built. It is easy to use, accurate and gives a nice, clean cut. Just beware, the blade is very sharp, as it needs to be. Can highly recommend. It should last for many years.

I bought this to trim off the borders of Tarot cards
I bought this to trim off the borders of Tarot cards so that they would all be exactly the same size, and it works well. With shiny card I could do about 5 at a time, but more than that and the bottom ones would slide out a bit. The measuring was easy to do with the markers on the board. The blade is very sharp, and cuts through the cards easily.

It easily cut through 150 A4 sheets paper with 10 A4 stiff card as covers.
I used it for cutting booklets it was suberb would recommend it.

Cuts well
This item could be so much better if the manufactures had an eye for detail. The screw handle knocks into a screw head so in order to tighten it the nut has to be loosened. I would imagine when the blade needs to be replaced there will be no option get one. Have no idea who the manufactures are.

Great tool for recycling paper project
This is a marvelous office tool! I am using it to cut magazines, journals and books -- part of a project to scan all this into my computer so I can recycle the paper and make space. The cuts are excellent and scanning goes so much better than without it (when I had uneven paper edges and bits of glue that jammed the paper feeder on my scanner).

Looks like it is well made
This cutter is just what I was looking for. It is very heavy, so I keep it in one place so I don't have to move it. Looks like it is well made, but I would like it even better if the arm that you move for the dimensions were longer. If you don't have it tightened really tight the end will move, which will cause your paper to come out crooked. There is a learning curve with this machine, but it does the job. The trick is to make sure all the cranks are very tight before you cut.

Great Cutter
I am an engineer. This unit is well designed and functional. It is easy to set up and use. It has metric units as primary and US units as secondary, which requires you to pay attention to the grid lines when setting it up for US sized paper. It cuts cleanly and accurately. The clamp holds the paper securely to assure it does not "walk" during cutting. The guide can shift a bit if you bump the paper against too vigorously. I check it each time before the cut.
