Love this thing. Much cheaper than others on the market. I do believe there are more sturdy units on the market, but wasn't worth the money for me. I've sharpened 5 blades with it so far and love it.

Never knew I needed one til I got one! Takes all the guess work out and takes minutes. I use a cordless Milwaukee grinder to very quick and easy to attach the piece on grinder and go to work. Balancer was easy and great as well. I would bet my lunch every blade sharpened without a balancer is out of balance! I have my sharpener mounted to a 4x4 post section and I clamp it in my wood vise for easy portability.

The jig is easy to set up, I've set mine up in my vise. I checked the manual for the correct blade angle and set the angle on the jig. A half dozen strokes with the flap disc on the grinder and the blade was sufficiently sharp. The balancer is a nice addition to the kit. I've recommended the jig to a few friends, and heard about it from a colleague. Definitely recommend.

I'll keep it short and sweet. Works as advertised and I would buy again. I've only done four sets of blades but it worked perfectly and I don't see why I would ever have a problem with it.
