Did not work out of the box. Customer service giving me the run around.

This is the second time I have purchased this item. The one I bought for my nephew worked great. The one I just bought for my son did not work out of the box. I followed the manuals troubleshooting and the light sword still did not work. I contacted customer service to have it replaced and their response was follow the manuals troubleshooting. I’m hoping customer service is able to be more helpful otherwise buying this is a gamble and may leave the birthday kid as sad as mine was.
