As a user of the big brand mag drills, I had a hard time justifying their cost for the project I was doing. After the first 7/8” hole through 1/2” steel, I was impressed! I had to drill through 2 sections of plate and used the core drill for the first hole and switched to the drill chuck and drilled a pilot hole 1/4” & then went straight to a 7/8” drill bit. It handled it perfectly!! I have recommended this to others!
