Great product! The VEVOR magnetic lifter works perfectly for me and what I use it for. I know it_ designed to lift and move large plates of steel, but I use it to separate ferrous and non-ferrous metals from each other. The fact that it is strong makes it easy to use for this purpose , and being able to turn the magnet off means no scraping nails, tacks, and shavings off the magnet. I_e also used it to pick up spilled nails, and it worked equally as well. I would certainly purchase it again, and may be getting a second one next spring.-Kevin

Awesome magnet. Its a little big but works great.

We use this coupled with an overhead hoist to lift 4x8 sheets of steel onto our plasma table.The item is a bit heavy and the lever requires two hands to engage the magnet. Maybe it's just stiff because it's new.Easily lifts 500 lb sheets with no slippage. I prefer the magnet over an edge type clamp because I can grab the center of the panel, lift it up a couple of feet then pivot the sheet to the horizontal position to lay on the table.A very versitle tool at a reasonable price.

Works great on heavy sheet steel

The magnet was used for lifting parts into a crusher.

Do not lift beams with these, even if the beam is less than 1500 kg this is very unsafe practice.Just grab flat bars and metal sheets/plates with these. That is the most optimal way to use this machine.
