Very nice heater. Works like a charm. The overall quality is pretty good. The magnetic motor is very quiet. Recommended!

Solid and moderately heavy, steady working. We use it for watch parts finishing - plating, anodizing. Rust removal in citric acid goes faster with stirrer. Broken screw / broken tap etching in citric acid with stirrer works well too.

Einen Stern ziehe ich wegen des mindetens unangenehmen Geruchs der Kabelisolierung ab. Ansonsten funktioniert das Gerät tadellos und ist robust und reparierbar gestaltet. Dass zur Einstellung der richtigen Wärmezufuhr Fingerspitzengefühl notwendig ist, hatte ich erwartet: Temperaturzufuhr erfolgt über die manuell regelbare Platte (Regelung der Heizleistung). Wenn man in einer Umgebung mit konstanten thermischen Verhältnissen arbeitet, ist das in Ordnung. Rühren funktioniert auch über längere Zeiträume tadellos.

Wish had better accuracy but great for the money. Stir bar is not well balanced.

I made the mistake of using a ball canning jar instead of beaker and my sugar broke burning my ceramic top but now that I use the correct beakers it's going great. O ly thing I don't like is it does get hot when you turn on and the light won't be on like it's on so u have to make sure knob is 100 percent off for heat.
