Bought this on a whim thinking it might help. Well, it made short work of every branch I put its blade against. I need to limb a nearly 3 story tall tree down and then cut the main trunks. This is an invaluable saw and the poles are morw than adequately sturdy.

This is a great tool. I love it. Buy it for yourself or your husband. I consider it to be an essential addition to my tree felling tools. A 26 foot long pool saw can safely cut down large branches that are a lot higher than you might think. This pole saw is so much more effective than a rope saw. With it, I have trimmed dozens of pine trees along my driveway. And I’ve used it to prepare a tree for felling, by first cutting all the tall, heavy branches weighing the tree down in the opposite direction of how I want it to fall. One note of caution, straight out of the factory a few of the bolts holding the blade were not tight and I noticed after one of my first days of cutting that I had lost a bolt and nut. I also noticed that two of the sections of the pole had loose screws (holding the connector area) that needed loctite glue because it was just a matter of time before they would fall out. So carefully inspect the hardware and tighten if needed.
