This little pot is the neatest thing. It is three gal pot with condenser. I am very happy with the construction and the materials are top notch. I did make one myself but I would not recomend it. For the money this still is five star all the way..you will not go wrong. BUT JUST ONE THING..Get a small pump to recirc cool water. Other then that the small one comes with everything you need to start.Paul M.

I bought the product for a rather peculiar reason. As soon as the Covid-19 pandemic started I couldn_ find any pure alcohol for disinfection for my medical business. So I decided to distill ethanol from cheap vodka. And sure enough it worked. I was able to distill 85% ethanol which is good enough for disinfection.

Seems to be very well-designed and made. Fittings go together well. The manual seems to be excellent with a lot of great ideas for recipes of a large variety of different fermentations and distillations.The only criticisms I have:Some of the the pictures in the manual are printed a little too dark, and so are not easy to see.I have not used it yet--it would be nice if they suggested a pump for the cooling water to go with it.--MK

Arrivato con una settimana di anticipo. Il distillatore composto da buon materiale e svolge il proprio lavoro egregiamente. Come qualcuno scrive non ho trovato insufficiente la serpentina ma per dirlo con precisione si dovrebbe effettuare un calcolo la cui formula facilmente recuperabile dal web. Fino ad ora ho eseguito due distillazioni e tutto filato liscio.

Great product...

Let's start with the bad. There are no assembly instructions. Not really a problem if you are not a total goob. The stickier point, and therefore the loss of a star, the seal on the thumper kettle is garbage and the seals / lack-of-washers for the fittings to connect the hoses to the thumper lid ain't great. Finally, the cooling water hoses are so flimsy that looking at them will crimp them and cause a lack of cooling water, or worse, an overflow.But these are all easily and cheaply fixable. When you look at the price point on this system and how well it works once you fix the seals, I still recommend buying.
