This is a very good cutter. I use it to make postcards from stacks of card-stock. Cuts straight and quick. There were no instructions included, so I had to set it up just by studying the unit and figuring it out the best I could. There were two handles to put on; the long handle on the cutter, and I finally figured out that the tightening handle was on backwards, for easier packing I guess. Still experimenting with how thick of a stack of cards to cut. So far about an inch, and it slices right through. Just don't order and ask for expedited shipping. I did, but it did not ship out any faster. The shippers did refund the expedited charge to me at least.

This is in my opinion a good value machine for the price. However the chances of getting one undamaged by courier is almost nil due to the weight of the item. Mine had been dropped on the main chopping handle bending it sideways which I was able to straighten. It had also been dropped on the end of the shaft the screw handle fits onto so hard that the centre screw was bent and the threads damaged. Fortunately I had access to a set of taps to clean the threads and a replacement screw to mount the handle. This could have been avoided if the screw had been supplied fully screwed into the threads rather than half hanging out.. Most noon technical end users would have had to return the item or seek third party assistance to repair it. None of these things was really the manufacturers fault so I still gave it 4 stars as it works well for the money.

This thing is a work horse

The product itself works well...as well as I expected. It arrived well packaged, but had obviously been stored in a humid environment as there are s.all amounts of what appears to be rust in some areas . That said, it still works fine.

I cut heavy duty panel board for stiffeners in cases I make. I would have boughten a 24" model if it was available. It cuts like a dream and beat a knife and straight edge.

un profitto molto pesante e robusto, per essere un made in china non mi lamento. Non penso tagli 400 fogli, io preferisco inserirne una po alla volta, dello spesso di un pollice. Concerto gli A4 in A5 e mi trovo bene. Purtroppo il taglio rovina un po le prime pagine, dovete avere una mano fermissima... Inoltre sfasa di 2-3 mm, difficile tagliare drittissimo. Non occorre essere Hulk per azionare la leva, al massimo inserite meno fogli. Fortunatamente a me non importa che le pagine siano perfette. Arrivato in 2 giorni dall_rdine, venditore molto gentile

Taglia senza la minima difficolta', ne' sforzo dell'operatore, una risma di 200 fogli. Non ancora ho avuto ragione di testarla su risme di dimensioni maggiori, ma aggiornero' la recensione dopo averlo fatto.
