Pool rail is very sturdy and arrived quickly. The price was lower than lesser quality rails I looked at. Installation was very easy and took about 30 minutes. Bolt anchors could be of better quality but worked just fine. Recommend having a good quality 7/16 concrete hammer drill bit on hand. Only able to drill 2 holes with one that was supplied. Would certainly recommend this rail for anyone needing one.

Love this! Able to install pretty quickly depending on the material you will be drilling into. The size was perfect and able to separate the steps from the sun deck.

It is good looking, sturdy and easy to install

Recommend using water when drilling into concrete. This was easy to install and looks good. Because the bottom is attached to a sturdy base, I feel like this was stronger than others offered. All the hardware and drill bit was included and took the guess work out of the install. Total time took about 30 min.

Some of the items weren't necessary. Easy to install because we listened to the tool rental place (las vegas) and rented the right drill and right bit.(took all the bits and screws to rental place to make sure we got the right equipment.) Whizzed right thru the concrete. The rest was easy and uncomplicated. Surprised us all. Thought the drilling would be more difficult. NOT!!!!. I liked the fact it had everything we needed including the wrap for the rail for hot weather. I'm elderly (sounds better then old) and needed the rail for ease of getting out of the pool.

Other than drilling the concrete, which was quite a chore even with a diamond tip drill bit, the handrail was easy to install and feels very sturdy. The handrail comes with a useless drill bit which was no problem as we bought a good one at the hardware store.

Railing is one piece construction and the mounting plate weld appears sound. Can't rate it higher because its not currently installed. The mounting bolts and insert length appears to be adequate for a concrete installation. But I'd recommend optional longer bolts, 3inch, and inserts for deck installations. I will also mount double 2"x 8" blocking between the deck joists to provide much needed stuffiness. Seller should consider including those modifications in the product.
