I am not a full time plumber, more jack of all trades but I do a decent amount of it that I could justify finally getting a pro-press set up. I didn't want to break the bank on the "red" brand as I am not doing 100+ fittings a day. I read a bunch of reviews and watched some youtube vids on this press. It was positive enough that I decided to give it a shot. I was worried it was going to be an obvious cheap tool that I would wear out after a few jobs. I have to say, I am pretty impressed with the tool and the jaw set you get. solid well build and feels like it will stand up to moderate use. For the price point I cant complain. Yes the batteries seem a little on the cheap side with plastic that feels like it will prob crack. The charger gives that Temu vibe with its corny little song it chimes when you plug a battery in. But for 1200 savings I can deal with it and worse case it can us Makita batteries and you can even get an adapter for M18 or even Dewalt 20v and use what you have. Case is decent tool is solid, Jaws are legit and well made. I am calling it a win.

First time using it , very easy and worth its weight in gold. No more soldering

I have used it on many projects and has not let me down. Copper boiler piping, water lines, and some copper air lines. Not one leak.
