We needed a small piece of furniture to allow for seating in our foyer. We chose this bench, and couldn't be happier! It is sturdy, well made, and I appreciate the hidden storage.

I bought this bench back in January so I've had some time to review it... I am thoroughly impressed with this storage bench! It manages to be both incredibly stylish and highly functional, which is a rare find. It fits perfectly at the foot of my bed, but it’s elegant enough to work in an entryway or living room without looking like "utility" furniture. Also I believe it comes in different lengths which made it super easy to measure out which one would look best at the foot of my bed. The hinges allow for a soft close which is awesome. I hate it when things slam shut. As far as seating goes, the padding is firm yet comfortable. It’s the perfect height for sitting down to put on shoes in the morning. Assembly was also a total breeze. I think it took me no more than 10 minutes and that's from opening the box through to finish. I only had to attach the legs, and it was ready to go. This is a fantastic piece of furniture for the price. If you’re looking for a way to add extra storage without sacrificing your room's aesthetic, I highly recommend this bench!

We bought these with the intention to use them for our dining table. The table is 33 inches tall (close to typical). But! These benches were far too short for that- We ended up having to buy 150 dollars worth of taller legs to use them for our purposes. On a positive note, the bench tops are nice enough that we were willing to buy longer legs. As they are, if you want to use them to put your socks on, they are perfect. We had to add 5-6 inches to the height to use them for dining purposes.
