The delivery wasn’t done on time as the product arrived over a week late, but to be fair the customer service was good at communicating despite me asking repeatedly for a refund and reassured me. they managed to get the DPD tracking information and the delivery happened on Sunday 20th of December. The pull up bar requires some assembly but the instructions provided are fairly easy to follow, you’ll need a socket set and a couple spanner’s to make sure it’s all secure. You’ll also need a 12mm masonry drill bit to allow the expanding wall fixings to go into the mounting surface completely. One potential problem I will mention is that the tolerances on the nuts of the wall fixings are very loose so be very careful torquing them up because you’ll probably cross thread them, solution is to start the nut by hand until you cannot turn it making sure it’s on straight and torque it up with a spanner or socket set. If you’re in doubt ask a handyman to install it for you!!The pull up bar is of sufficient quality for what I need it for. For the price you can’t really complain, the foam padding is not great and is a bit lacking but you can always make your own pad with foam and gaffer tape if your back and forearms get sore from pressure or you’re not precious about looks. The bars are durable and made out of a decent thickness metal, the welding is strong and shouldn’t give way.Overall a good product which will do its job for years to come, provided the wall fixings hold in place!
