Extremely nice for the price. I suppose one of those much more pricey commercial units would be heavier gauge steel, but this unit is sturdy, I assembled it easily by myself, and it holds a lot of weight. I_ so glad I didn_ buy one of those wire shelving units. I love the solid shelves on this unit_nd the unit in general.

Very sturdy with wide shelves. Easy to assemble. Solid surface shelves are so much better than the wire shelving units.

I love everything about this shelving unit. I almost didn't buy it due to some bad reviews I read but I am so glad I did. I purchased it to go in my pantry and it is beautiful and perfect. Shipped on time with no damage. It is pretty easy to put together if you have 2 people. The instructions were crap but you really don't need them, it is self explanatory. I felt compelled to come leave a good review to offset some of the bad ones. I struggled to find a shelving unit that was 18" deep that wasn't just a plastic garage shelving unit and this fit the bill, matches my stainless steel appliances and looks very "chef-y" in my pantry.

These are steel shelves and have been colorized in some way (Powder coat?).They do stand up well to a lot of weight. The one thing I don't like is the vertical standards come in two pieces. They appear a little less stable at the connection point. I guess they are designed to be used two different ways - either side by side or one vertical. I just wish there was a better way to connect these when used as one vertical.The sleeves themselves are adjustable which is useful although once set I believe they will probably never be adjusted again. The sleeves are not easily adjustable one set in place.Overall I would recommend these.
