Frustrated with soldering water copper pipes that continued to spit at me, even after cleaning and re-soldering. Found this tool and thought I would give it a try. Couldn’t have been easier to put together a copper line and fittings for the tool Then used the tool to fasten things together. Absolutely no leaks and continues to be so. Couldn’t be happier with the tool.

I am extremely happy with the crimping tool. I opted for the split version as that give just a bit better placement options when working in small spaces. Until now I only used the TH claws to crimp Bonfix couplings to PEX-multilayer pipe in 16, 20 and 26 mm (note this set includes a 26mm claw, not 25mm). All of them succesful. I did not use copper/steel couplings yet. Because of the size of the crimping mouth it is not possible to crimp a T coupling in smaller sizes (12 / 15). the manual warns for this and I think this is common to many of these crimping tools. Just 4 stars because the hose between the oil cylinder and the crimping moutn leaks a bit of oil under high pressure. This was solved by Vevor support within a few days.

Die Presszange erfüllt genau den Zweck, für den ich es gekauft habe: die Rohrverbindungen der Heizung zu pressen. Da es nicht viele Verbindungen waren, die eine elektrische Presse gerechtfertigt hätten, bin ich sehr zufrieden. Allerdings sollte man schon über körperliche Kräfte verfügen, denn die braucht man definitiv. Ich werde mir für das nächste Mal eine Halterung bauen, dann rutscht die Presse nicht zur Seite weg. Und: Übung macht den Meister!
